Folkert Oosterbeek is a very versatile piano and hammond player. He has worked with artists such as Pete Philly and Perquisite, but also with het Metropole Orkest, Michael Moore, Jasper Blom and Anton Goudsmit. For more than 10 years he is playing on national and international stages with his band BRUUT!. BRUUT! is described as superjazz; energetic, hard-driven jazz that is meant for dancing. Folkert is a piano and ensemble teacher at the Junior Jazz College, the Jazz Young Talent program of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
