Preselection
Please submit through the application form links to three pieces: two pieces from the jazz repertoire and one piece of your own choice.
Entrance Exam
Four pieces of a different character, with improvisations. At least three of these should be from the jazz repertoire, see for example this list. Additionally one of J.S. Bach's Violin Partitas and a Classical piece of your own choice.
The master entrance exam consists of two parts:
- a practical part (information to be announced)
- an interview
In the interview, the following topics are discussed:
- motivation to do a master study
- specific plans for the study (based on the written motivation in the application form)
- plans for the curriculum and a research proposal
