Application and Admission
Do you want to come and study at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam? Apply for our study programmes through the following steps:
- Application: you apply for the entrance exam.
- Entrance exam: you will take a practical entrance exam, and, depending on the principal subject you apply for, a theoretical exam as well.
- Enrolment: if you have been admitted, you can enrol through Studielink.
- Preparing for your life as a CvA student.

You apply to the Conservatorium van Amsterdam by means of the application form. Before you apply, check whether you meet all the requirements and before which date you must apply for the study programme of your choice. For a number of principal subjects there is a pre-selection by means of a recording you must upload in the application form.

Once you have applied, you will hear if you will be invited to do the entrance exam.
The entrance exam consists of several parts. Prepare well for the entrance exams, you cannot resit in the same year.
