Soprano Roberta Alexander enjoys international fame as an opera singer. She is a regular guest on the world's most important opera stages, such as Glyndebourne, the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the opera houses of Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Zurich, Amsterdam and Venice.
She is also active as a concert singer. She has performed with the Vienna Philharmonic, with the London and Royal Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the orchestra of the Bayerischer Rundfunk, and the symphony orchestras of Cincinnati, Atlanta and Dallas, and has worked with conductors of renown such as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Sir Colin Davis, Carlo Maria Giulini, Bernard Haitink, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, James Levine, Andrew Litton, Jesus Lopez-Cobos, Zubin Mehta, Leonard Slatkin, Edo de Waart and David Zinman.
Roberta Alexander is also a highly communicative recital singer. She has been invited to the series of Carnegie Hall New York, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, the Wiener Musikverein, the Wigmore Hall in London, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and the famous series of the Vocal Arts Society in Washington DC.
