Eva Baggerman

Zangeres Eva Baggerman teaches at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Academy of Theatre and Dance. She studied jazz voice with Marjorie Barnes and Rachel Gould at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. She worked with musicians such as Pat Metheny, Georgie Fame, Red Mitchell, performed with the Metropole Orchestra and toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Eva sang in various theatre productions, worked as a choir leader and assistant with Stephen Sondheim’s Musical Company vaand produced three CDs. After a period of concerts with her own sextet, the vocal jazz trio Kind of Blue and the duo Take it Easy, she formed the vocal group Jazzed to the Max. She sang in the close harmony group Sugar and Spice and in the Tom Parker production of New London Chorale. In 2004 she formed the vocal group Sister Bop. 2007 saw the release of the debut album of vocal group Jazzed to the Max, Cream Cheese and Bagels.
