Dorine Jansma studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Han de Vries, Carlo Ravelli and Jan Spronk. She plays with several orchestras and ensembles, especially cantatas and Bach's Passion music, to which she is particularly drawn. Additionally, Dorine frequently plays chamber music with the Röntgen Trio (flute, oboe and bassoon) and with larger groups, such as in the New Dutch Double Reed Ensemble.

Dorine is a teacher of oboe and methodology at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, as well as study advisor to the Classical Department.
