The Conservatorium van Amsterdam has been the subject of four documentaries which have been broadcast on national television. The documentary Lost in Musicfocuses on four students, violinist Amarins Wiersma, conductor Stijn Berkouwer, singer and guitarist Pablo van de Poel and jazz singer Lisa Loeb, while they study, rehearse and perform.

The documentary Divas features the Dutch National Opera Academy. Four students show how they work they way to a career on the opera platform.

Nieuwe Meesters focuses on the Sweelinck Academy and Junior Jazz College, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam's national study programme for exceptionally gifted children age 8-18. 

The documentary Maestrishows how two students of the National Master in Orchestral Conducting prepare themselves for a career in orchestral conducting.
