The CvA congratulates Ido Gerard Kempenaar with his appointment as chief-conductor of theRoyal Netherlands Marechaussee Orchestra, a professional brass band of the Armed Forces.
Ido Gerard Kempenaar studies with Arjan Tien in the master de gree programme in Condicting Concert and Brass Bands at the CvA. On 14 June, he will give his final exam concert in de Lawei in Drachten, where he will conduct the Fanfare Bereden Wapens, one of the other professional military orchestras in the Netherlands.
