Conservatorium van Amsterdam to participate in Global Conservatoire

Published on

Starting this season, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam will participate in a new international partnership: The Global Conservatoire. In The Global Conservatoire, the Manhattan School of Music in New York, the Royal College of Music in London, the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam join forces to offer a digital course programme. In this 'global classroom', the expertise and specific profile of each institute contribute to a diverse range of top-quality education.

‘The new collaboration within The Global Conservatoire offers a tremendous opportunity to students and teachers of all CvA departments,’ says Joachim Junghanss, Associate Director and Head of Jazz and Pop Music. ‘They can benefit from excellent educational offerings of our partners, learn across cultures and enhance their network to build a future-oriented, global community.’

The courses are open to students of the participating conservatoires, giving them the opportunity to meet other teachers and students and expand their network. The participating academies not only benefit from each other's expertise, but also expand their range of courses.

CvA students can register for the spring 2024 course programme from mid-November. Registration will open soon.
