Alisdair Pickering wins Ricciotti's fifth Great Arranging Competition

Alisdair Pickering has won the Ricciotti Orchestra's fifth Great Arranging Competition. With his arrangement of the music from the videogame Overlord, by game composer Jeroen Tel, he won first prize, an amount of €1.500,-.

According to the competition jury - Bob Zimmerman (arranger/composer), Jeroen Tel (Game composer Commodore64) and Leonard Evers (composer/conductor Ricciotti), 'Alisdair was able to orchestrate Jeroen Tel’s music beautifully and showed a great sense of colour, structure and creativity. His arrangement included all components of a great orchestral piece,'
