CvA student Cameron Shahbazi (Hamilton, Canada, 1992) has won two prizes at the ‘Troisième Concours Opéra Raymond Duffaut Jeunes Espoirs’. He was awarded the Prix Grand Avignon, an amount of € 2000,-, unanimously. Additionally, he won the Prix Révélation, an amount of € 1000,-. Organised by Opéra Grand Avignon, this competition is open to candidates from 16-26 years of age, of all nationalities.

Cameron Shahbazi studies voice with Sasja Hunnego in the master’s degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
