Until his retirement in 2013, Frank C. Bakker was associate professor in human movement sciences / sport psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Currently he is with the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, involved in, amongst others, the project “Taking the hurdles of performance.” He is (co)author of over 100 articles in national and international scientific journals and first author of books on sports psychology designed for undergraduate students, coaches, and sport performers.
