De bands Smandem en Liquid Identities zijn de winnaars van de halve finales van de Keep an Eye International Jazz Award 2019. Ze wonnen beide een geldbedrag van € 1.000. Het Aviv Noam Quartet won de aanmoedigingsprijs van € 500,-
In de finale nemen Smandem en Liquied Identities het op tegen Focusyear Band 19 (Jazzcampus der Hochschule für Musik FHNW, Basel); Ox Ox (New England Conservatory, Boston); het Anthony Pearlman Quartet (The School of Jazz at the New School, New York) en Hivemind (Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Cardiff).
