Keyboard player, producer and songwriter Wiboud Burkens (1966) is active in a wide variety of genres, from soul/funk tot pop, crossover/jazz, world and film music. He arranged and composed for large ensembles such as Kindred Spirits Ensemble and Motion Unlimited, and produced and/or played on over sixty-five CDs, ranging from jazz to hiphop, soul, world & pop.

Together with bassplayer Manuel Hugas he is the co-founder and songwriter/producer of soul group Liquid Spirits. Their CD’s met with high acclaim worldwide.

In recent years Wiboud produced albums for Jungle by Night, Lilian Vieira, as well as Re:freshed Orchestra. He has worked with Leon Ware and produced and wrote for Lalah Hathaway. He is MD for the project group Daughters of Soul’, performing with artists such as Chaka Khan, Denise Williams, Lalah Hathaway and Sandra St. Victor.
