Singer and dancer Rachel Farr studied at the Royal Academy of Dancing and at the Fontys Conservatorium Tilburg with Ildikó Hajnal and Xenia Meijer. She also studied musicology at Utrecht University and took numerous courses in the field of Baroque singing and dancing. She dances repertoire from the Renaissance to the early nineteenth century. As a singer she performs repertoire from the early Medieval period to contemporary music. In 2006 she founded the Aeolus Baroque Ensemble. She teaches Renaissance and Baroque dance to singers from the Early Music Department.
