Ralf Pisters

Ralf Pisters is a music theorist and pianist. He teaches theoretical subjects and Theory of Music s a principal subject at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He also teaches theory at the Academie Muzikaal Talent. He is coordinator and vice-president of the faculty of Theory and History at the CvA. As a theorist, his interest lies in the analysis and writing of the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. After training as a computer scientist, he also worked for some time as a software developer.
