Michael Tweed-Kent
Michael Tweed-Kent has served as the Feldenkrais Teacher at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam since 2018. He also regularly teaches workshops and individual lessons through feelgoodsoundgood.com, an online Feldenkrais program to transform the relationship of musicians with their self, body and instrument.
A cellist and graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music and the CvA, Michael has studied with pioneers connecting Feldenkrais to music including Uri Vardi (strings), Alan Fraser (keyboards) and Robert Sussuma (voice). He brings this instrument-specific precision to his work with all musicians.
Michael has given masterclasses at the Oberlin Conservatory, Cremona Music Academy and Tonebase Cello Festival. He graduated from the New York City and Vienna Feldenkrais training programs studying with David Zemach-Bersin and Jeremy Krauss.
