Inés Costales

Inés Costales (1990, Gijón, Spain) obtained her bachelor's diploma in cello at the Conservatory of Zaragoza in 2013. Subsequently she studied piano and music theory at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, obtaining her master's degree in 2019. As of September 2020 she is a teacher of music theory at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, having taught chamber music and theoretical subjects already at the Conservatory of Maastricht and at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. Furthermore, she teaches “Musicianship” at the Sweelinck Academy for Young Talents at the CvA. Besides being active as a performer and composer, she focuses on the integration between music theory and performance. She is regularly invited to give lectures and workshops at various conservatories in the Netherlands and in Spain.
