Harmen de Boer

Harmen de Boer (Hoogezand-Sappemeer, 1954) studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with Jolle Huckriede and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Herman Braune and George Pieterson. From 1975-1981 Harmen was a member of the Amsterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. He also played with the Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Radio Chamber Orchestra, Nieuw Sinfonietta Amsterdam and the Metropole Orchestra. Additionally, he is a member of the Fodor Quintet and the Netherlands Wind Ensemble. With this ensemble he recorded Mozart’s Clarinet concerto and Messian’s Quatuor pour la fin du temps.
