Arranging: big band/large ensembles

Course description
This course consists of private coaching. Lesson dates are to be arranged with the teacher, and lessons are based on work made by the student. The main focus will be on arranging for big band. It is also possible to write arrangements for other types of ensembles. Also arranging for the students’ final exam programme can be part of the course.

Method of instruction
Private lessons. Students are required to contact the teacher in the first week of September.

assessment	At least one arrangement for big band, or two arrangements for smaller ensembles. The candidate may choose to:
	1. Perform the arrangement(s) at the arranging examination concert in late April or early May 2020; or:
	2. Hand in a recording of the arrangement(s) no later than May 1st, 2020
	Arrangements should be ready by March 1st, 2020.
