By means of vocal and instrumental scores from, in particular, the 16th and the 17th centuries, students will be made familiar with the clefs that were in use in that period. In addition they will be trained to play from open scores, written in two to six parts. In close relationship with the reading of various clefs, also transposition will be discussed and trained.
