The CvA collaborates with JINC, an organization that provides equal opportunities for youngsters from underprivileged backgrounds. Every year, several elementary school groups from neighboorhoods with socioeconomic disadvantages visit the CvA. They participate in workshops in singing, drumming, piano, percussion or body percussion given by CvA teachers and students. This gives them an idea of what it means to study at a conservatoire, because many of these children have no idea that studying music is also a possibility. Subsequently, we assist talented or interested children in their search for music lessons in their neighbourhood.
