Club Partout Lab
Club Partout Lab is a laboratory for young musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds. Four times a year, masters of improvised music accompany young talents during a two-day laboratory, which culminates in a concert in which different musical traditions are freely mixed with jazz. Experiment, adventure and inspiration are the keywords.
Half of the band consists of students with roots in the Middle East and Africa and the other half of students from all CvA departments.
Club Partout Lab is a collaboration between Orchestre Partout, the CvA and the BIMhuis.
Ntjam Rosie and Hashem Kabreet guided young musicians from the Middle-East and The CvA through a programme full of experiment and improvisation. The outcome: an amazing musical journey through experimental jazz and warm-blooded folk music.
On 30 September 2025 Háshem Kabreet and Kika Sprangers and 17 young musicians performed a concert at the Bimhuis, Amsterdam. The music was created in just two days.
