Associate lector: Atser Damsma

Within the Music & Technology research theme, Atser Damsma focuses on the development and impact of technology in music. He explores the question of how computer models can be used to generate new forms of music. Algorithms inspired by human cognitive processes are further developed so that they can interact with musicians in real time. In a live setting, it will be tested how these models can become part of the artistic process. The research provides students and teachers with tools to integrate developments in artificial intelligence into their practice.
