Reinier Baas – The Parameter Approach

Reinier Baas teaches Creative Jazz Writing at the CvA and will be conducting research on his composition method ‘The Parameter Approach’ starting in September. This method focuses on providing concrete ways to practice composition based on seven musical parameters. Reinier will develop his research into a book that can be directly applied in the curriculum and into an online lecture series, in which he dedicates a lecture to each parameter.
