Sasha Witteveen, double bass, and Ana-Carmen Balestra, soprano, both CvA alumni, have been nominated for the GrachtenfestivalPrize 2026.
The GrachtenfestivalPrize is awarded annually to a promising musician. During the selection process, instrumental mastery, artistic level, vision and stage presence are taken into account. The winner will be announced at De Avond van het Grachtenfestival on Friday 14 August, and will be given the opportunity to create a special programme for the next edition of the Grachtenfestival.
