Six of the seven bands that have been selected to play in the final of Keep an Eye The Records 2026 consist wholly or partly of CvA-students and alumni.
The finalists are (the names of the CvA students/alumni are in bold type):

- Sam Nera: Sam Peetermans, vocals and keyboards; Tommy van Leuken, guitar and synths; Joop de Graaf, bass guitar; Pedro Nobre, drums
- Vulnerability Portraits: Alkistis Misouli, viola, compositions; Aleksander Sever, vibraphone, Joy Shechter, piano; Omer Govreen, double bass; Ludvig Søndergaard, drums; Ori Ron, cello
- Daan Kluwer Quintet: Daan Kluwer, saxophone; Ella Zirina, guitar; Jelle Willems, toetsen; William Barrett, double bass; Tim Hennekes, drums
- Ruda Krua:Pau Jordà Sellés, alto saxophone and FX; Bernat Sanjuan Boronat, bass clarinet and FX; Branko Valchev, drums
- Woodcraft: Wouter Torringa, violin, viola, vocals; Noah Hassler-Forest, five-stringed violin, vocals; Joshua Herwig, cello, vocals; Ischa Kooistra, cello; Reinout de Vey-Mestdagh, cello, vocals
A total of 140 bands registered for the competition. The final will take place on January 23 at TivoliVredenburg. The three winners of The Records will receive €10,000 to produce an album, coaching during the recording process, and a tour of Dutch venues. Read more
