Alumnus Elias Blanco del Prado has won the percussion audition with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. Elias studied percussion with Nick Woud, Tomohiro Ando, Mark Braafhart, Bence Major, Richard Jansen, Arnold Marinissen, Rachel Xi Zhang and Ramon Lormans at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in 2022 and his master's in 2024. In the 2022/2023 season, he was already academist with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
