Ursula Harrison, master's student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, has won the BBC Young Jazz Musician 2024 award! She was chosen as the winner from four exceptional young jazz talents by a jury of leading names in the jazz world. Here you can find more information about the event and listen to Ursula. 

About Ursula Harrison
Ursula Harrison is a bassist and composer originally from South Wales. In addition to performing with her band Orbit Street, she has played with several major ensembles, including the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Great Britain and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Jazz Collective with Michael Mayo at the Bimhuis. Ursula is currently pursuing the European Jazz Master’s, a prestigious joint program offered by the conservatories of Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Paris and Trondheim.
