Ante Medic Octet, Sanne Sanne and Agus Fulka Septet have reached the final of the prestigious Dutch Jazz Competition. All three bands feature students and/or alumni of the CvA's Jazz Department.
The high level of the participants made it difficult for the professional jury of the semi-final on 14 December last to come to a selection: the programme gave a beautiful sample of the quality and diversity of the new generation of jazz talent. In the end, four finalists were chosen, three of them coming from the CvA.
