Danish double bass player and student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Mathilde Qvist won a job at the Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester (Danish Philharmonic orchestra) as solo doublebass. We congratulate Mathilde, who is currently in the second year of her masters, studying with Olivier Thiery.

Mathilde began her studies at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus in 2016. She then studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and received her master's degree from The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. With the Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester she will perform in the Southern Jutland regions.
