The Gouden Notekraker has been celebrating the quality and diversity of Dutch live music for 50 years. Jungle By Night, which includes pop alumni Pyke Pasman (Keys), Sonny Groeneveld (Drums), Peter Peskens (Bass), is the winner of the Gouden Notekraker 2024. The prize is awarded after nomination and election by peers to the artist/band with the most outstanding and influential live performance of the past season.

Since 1974, the Gouden Notekraker has been the music award by performers for performers. Previous winners include MyBaby, DeWolff, Spinvis, Eefje de Visser, Magda Mendes. The prize is awarded annually during a festive evening.
