Sasha Scolnik-Brower, alumnus of the National Master in Orchestral Conducting, has been awarded the Bernard Haitink Conducting Fellowship.

After Bernard Haitink’s passing, his widow Patricia made an amount available to found a two-year training position for young talented conductors with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in Munich. Sasha Scolnik-Brower is the first conductor to receive this honour. He will have Sir Simon Rattle as his mentor.
