Trombonist Tim Ouwejan has won second prize at the 59th International Competition for Oboe and Trombone Markneukirchen. In the final, which took place on 9 May, he showed his abilities with the Concerto No. 2 in A major for trombone and orchestra by Eugen Reiche.
Tim studied with Jörgen van Rijen, Pierre Volders and Remko de Jager, obtaining his master’s diploma in December 2023.
