Esra Jonckman (14), recorder, has won third prize in category 1b (12-14 years of age and studying at a young talents programme) in the National Final of the Princess Christina Competition. Additionally, she was awarded the Oranjewoud Festival Prinze, de Muziekgebouw aan het IJ Prize and the Ruud van der Meer Prijs of € 1.000,-.
Esra studies with Hester Groenleer at the Sweelinck Academy, the Conservatorium van Amsterdam’s study programme for young talents.
