Chloe Rooke has been appointed emerging artist in residence at the Residentie Orkest for three seasons, starting from 2024-2025. Chloe will be involved in the four pillars of the orchestra’s activities: symphonic, education, talent development and social/outreach.
Chloe graduated from the National Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting (NMO) in 2022. That same year she was appointed assistant conductor at the Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and won prizes at the International Conducting Competition Rotterdam and the Donatella Flick-LSO Conducting Competition.
December is also a special month for NMO alumnus Sasha Scolnik-Brower. This month he leads Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker with the Orchestre de Paris and then he will travel to Germany to conduct Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss at the Staatsoper Hamburg.
