On the 88th day of the year, this year being 29 March, we celebrate World Piano day. This was reason enough for the Conservatorium van Amsterdam to put this versatile instrument in a new light, and to celebrate piano music in all its forms.  

For this reason we asked 12 pianists, among which students, alumni and teachers to share their story and favourite music. The result is a musical registration that varies from romantic transcriptions to improvisation and contemporary repertoire. And all of this on our beautiful, new Steinway D Grand Piano.
