The electronic music scene dominates the city of Amsterdam until October 23: Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is again present at 200 venues all over the city. According to ADE, there are currently 28 subgenres in dance music. The difference between these subgenres was the subject of last night's EditieNL program on RTL4. EditieNL visited the Amsterdam Electronic Music Academy of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where DJ, musicologist and AEMA teacher Victor Coral was interviewed about the different genres and the rich history of dance music in Amsterdam.
