Wibren Jonkers (22) has won first prize in the category ‘conservatory’ at the Duyschot Organ Competition. The final of this first edition of the competition took place on 25 May in the Westerkerk in Amsterdam, where the participants played the Duyschot organ from 1686. The members of the jury were Anton Pauw, Jaap Zwart and Hayo Boerema. As a result, Wibren will give a presentation concert on 17 August, 2022, during the Grachtenfestival 2022.
