The Jazz Department of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam proudly welcomes two new principal subject teachers of bass guitar: Glenn Gaddum Jr. and Phaedra Kwant. Glenn was already part of the bass guitar team as regular guest teacher; Phaedra is a CvA alumna, graduating from the master’s programme in bass guitar in 2004.
With Glenn en Phaedra, the bass guitar section gets two versatile bass guitarists who have made impressive careers at home and abroad.
Glenn Gaddum Jr. has collaborated with numerous international artists in a broad range of styles, including jazz, funk, soul, pop, rock and hiphop. He has played with, for instance, Anouk, the Dominic J Marshall Trio and Sven Hammond.
