We also welcome Clemens van der Feen as teacher of jazz double bass. Clemens van der Feen is a Conservatorium van Amsterdam alumnus, studying classical as well as jazz double bass and obtaining his master’s diploma in both departments with honours. After playing with orchestras like the Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, his main focus became jazz, growing out to be one of the most sought-after bass players around. He has worked with many great international musicians and played all over the world, from jazz clubs in Paris and Tokyo to the Musikverein in Vienna and Carnegie Hall in New York.
