Adam Akopian (11) wins PianoFest Competition

Adam Akopian (11) is the winner of the PianoFest Competition, which was held on 21 and 22 December at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Among the prizes he has won are a concert in the Radio 4 programme ‘Spiegelzaal’ and a masterclass with Thomas Beijer during PianoFest 2020. He will also perform in the main programme of ‘Klassiek op het Amstelveld’ on 12 September 2020.
Eighty amateur pianists of all ages participated in the competition. The jury consisted of Yoram Ish-Hurwitz (chair), Daria van den Bercken, Tilmar Junius, Julien Libeer and David Kuyken.
