CvA teacher Margaret Urquhart has been awarded a Special Recognition Award for Historically Informed Performance by the International Society of Bassists (ISB). Every two years the International Society of Bassists recognizes those who have contributed their special skills, knowledge, projects and other positive works in furthering the ISB's mission to Inspire, Educate and Connect. 
Margaret as ben a teacher of violone at the Early Music Department of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam since 1999.
