Alumna and staff member Tineke Postma has participated in the International Jazz Day Global Concert  on April 30. She performed with Herbie Hancock, John Beasley, James Genus, Brian Blade, Chico Pinheiro and many other jazz giants at the Melbourne Arts Centre in Australia. She also participated in the International Jazz Day Education and Outreach Programs at the Conservatory of Melbourne.
