MAAT Saxophone Quartet have passed the national preliminary round of the Grachtenfestival Conservatory Competition. They will represent the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the final on February 10th, 2019.

MAAT Saxophone Quartet was formed by Daniel Ferreira Sousa Lourenço, soprano saxophone; Catarina Alexandra Faria Gomes, alto saxophone; Pedro Jorge Castro e Silva, tenor saxophone, and Ana Mafalda Costa Oliveira, baritone saxophone. They all study with Arno Bornkamp at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
