Anna Sollewijn and Tadjiro Velzel to participate in Berklee Global Jazz Workshop

Junior Jazz College students Anna Sollewijn (17), voice, and Tadjiro Velzel (16), saxophone, have been selected to participate in the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Workshop, hosted by the Newport Jazz Festival, from July 30 to August 3. Anna and Tadjiro will have a week of intensive masterclasses with artists including Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano en Marco Pignataro, playing with other young top musicians from all over the world. Highlight will be a concert they will give together at the Newport Jazz Festival. Both Anna and Tadjiro have received a full scholarship for participation in the workshop. 

The Conservatorium van Amsterdam maintains a partnership with the Berklee Global Jazz Institute.
Together with the Sweelinck Academy for classical musicians, the Junior Jazz College is the Conservatorium van Amsterdam’s National study programme for exceptionally gifted children. More about Junior Jazz College
