Trio Diotima, Roza Herwig, Niels Jacobs and Mara Mostert have reached the national final of the Princess Christina Comptition 2018.
The members of Trio Diotima are pianist Mischa van Tijn (17); violinist Tim de Vries (17), and cellist Emma van Schadewijk (14). Mischa studies with Frank van de Laar at the Sweelinck Academy; Tim de Vries, a former Sweelinck Academy student, studies in the preparatory programme with Ilya Grubert. Trio Diotima also won the Audience Prize.
Roza Herwig (21) studies voice with Sasja Hunnego in the second year of the bachelor's degree programme; Niels Jacobs (18) studies trombone in the first year of the bachelor's degree programme and Mara Mostert (13) studies violin with Maria Milstein at the Sweelinck Academy.

Pianist Zara le Clercq (14) and violinist Yente Lottman (16), both Sweelinck Academy students, received an honourable mention.
