Tommaso Perazzo Trio and Lucas Martínez Project finalists in KAE International Jazz Award

The Tommaso Perazzo Trio and the Lucas Martínez Project have won the semifinals of the Keep an Eye International Jazz Award 2018. They will compete in the final with the Selma Savolainen Quartet from the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki; Day Dreamers from Boyer College of Music and Dance - Temple University Philadelphia; the Jelly Roll Morton Ensemble from Juilliard, New York, and the Thibault Gomez Quintet from the Conservatoire de Paris.

The members of the Lucas Martínez Project are Lucas Martínez, sax; Youngwoo Lee, piano; Giuseppe Campisi, bass, and Lluís Naval, drums. In the 2017 edition of the Keep An Eye International Jazz Award 2017 the band was awarded the Incentive Prize. The Tomasso Perazzo Trio consist of Tommaso Perazzo, piano; Kimon Karoutzos, double bass, and Marcello Cardillo, drums.

The Guy Salamon Sextet, consisting of Alistair Payne, trumpet; Lucas Martinez, tenor saxophone; Stefan Bos, piano; Teis Semey, guitar, William Barret, bass, and Guy Salamon, drums, won the Incentive Prize.
