The seventh edition of Jazzfest Amsterdam features many Conservatorium van Amsterdam students, teachers and alumni. Our Artist in residence Peter Bernstein will also be giving a concert, as well as the Concert Jazz Band, conducted by Justin DiCioccio, with a programme to mark Leonard Bernstein’s centenary.

Jazzfest Amsterdam is an initiative of  Felix Schlarmann and Norbert Kögging, both CvA alumni, who organised the festival for the first time in 2011. Since then it has becomea byword for adventurous jazz both at home and abroad.
