The Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA) is proud to announce that the Dutch ‘Keuzegids HBO 2018’, the yearly ranking of colleges and universities in the Netherlands, has proclaimed the study programmes in Music and Music in Education of exceptional quality. The CvA is honoured to receive the highest ranking  amongst all Dutch conservatories that offer all musical genres. The top score of 84 adds extra value to this ranking, as excellence in education is highly valued at CvA.

Music in Education receives the outstanding score of 88 points. The Keuzegids states that Music in Education offers a broad educational programme, where students gain knowledge of a wide array of musical styles and learn how to develop into an allround musician. Moreover, students are taught how to pass on this knowledge to various target groups. CvA has recently expanded the Music in Education programme with Special Education, thus offering graduates even more career possibilities throughout the whole educational spectrum.
